1. Agreement to Terms

Specific details, pricing, and scope of work will be outlined in a written estimate or service agreement provided to the customer.
3. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection.
Estimates are subject to change if unforeseen conditions arise.
Pricing is valid for the time period specified in the estimate.
Any additional work requested by the customer may require a written change order and additional payment.
No work will be performed outside the agreed scope without customer authorization.
4. Payments
Payment terms will be specified in the estimate or service agreement.
Deposits may be required before work begins.
Progress payments may be required for larger projects.
Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing.
Failure to make timely payments may result in:
Suspension of work
Additional fees
Legal action to recover unpaid balances
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers must provide reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs after materials have been ordered or work has begun.
The Company reserves the right to reschedule services due to weather, safety concerns, supply issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
6. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
Provide accurate contact and project information
Ensure access to the work site
Secure pets and personal belongings
Obtain HOA approvals if required
Disclose known structural or property issues
Failure to provide safe and reasonable access may delay the project and result in additional charges.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service provided.
10. Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Hagerstown Home Improvement from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
Customer negligence
Unsafe site conditions
Misuse of completed work
11. Permits and Compliance
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
The Company will obtain necessary permits required for the project.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate property information.
All work will comply with applicable local and state building codes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within Maryland unless otherwise required by law.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, logos, images, and branding, is the property of Hagerstown Home Improvement and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
